You can visit the Hailuogou Glacier Park all year round. However, autumn from October to mid-November is a wonderful time to see the colorful forest full of red, orange, and golden leaves. You can also visit from mid-April to mid-June to admire the pretty Azalea flowers. The period from July to August is the rainy season and is not recommended due to dangerous landslides.

Inside the park, you can see the 45 peaks over 6000 meters and more than100 peaks over 5000 meters. Hanging glaciers, hundreds of ice caves, and an ice forest make up the landscape.
