Danian
Located in the northeast of Guangxi province, Danian groups together 8 small villages of the Miao and Dong minority. Built along the eponymous river, the ancient village still very well preserved, is a model of what was the traditional Miao architecture made of constructions exclusively in wood and terracotta tiles.
The Miao way of life is still based almost exclusively on the agricultural model with some beautiful rice terraces and fishing.
Danian is situated in a remote part, so it is advisable to plan two days in your stay including a visit.
