The first world natural heritage in Guizhou inscribed by UNESCO, Libo is located on the southern edge of Guizhou. It is famous for its unique Karst landscapes, mysterious dense forests, various living species, splendid overlapping mountains, and clear rivers and lakes, including the Xiaoqikong and Daqikong.

Xiaoqikong Area (Seven Small Arches Scenic Area) is the highlight of Libo. It consists of the fantastic natural scenery of 68 levels of waterfalls, primitive forest, emerald lakes, and ancient seven arches bridges, from which its name comes!

Daqikong (Seven Big Arches Scenic Area) is different from the Xiaoqikong, and it is made of a canyon, underground river, and lakes. It offers splendid walks between small hanging gardens and the Shuichun River. You will meet an impressive work of nature: a natural bridge cut in the limestone by erosion.

Most tourists will plan a one-day tour in Libo to visit Daqikong and Xiaoqikong. Some tourists will spend one more day discovering the Maolan Natural Reserve that gathers the largest and most intact karst primeval forest in the world. Besides the beautiful scenery, there are ethnic minority villages scattered in and around, and they are wonderful places for hiking and camping.
